My People My Support is an organisation which is more than a volunteer organization; it's a testament to the resilient spirit of Ofakim residents. Ofakim is a one of the southern towns worst hit on October 7th.

Tzav-7 means ‘the mobilization of citizens’, the equivalent to the callup of our men and women in uniform on October 7th 2023.

My People My Support is committed to offering soldiers and military personnel a taste of home, no matter where duty calls.

In Abraham’s tent, we provide them with homemade hot meals, a variety of warm and cold beverages, sweet treats, and a range of other delights, bringing a touch of comfort to their challenging lives.

We stand beside our injured soldiers; organising hospital visits to those injured in action. Providing the warmest of homemade meals, specialised postcards made by children as well personal packages including hygiene products and clothes, we are committed to supporting those who need it most.

We also provide much needed equipment to soldiers. We equip our men and women in uniform with protective gear. With safety comes hygiene products, ensuring their comfort in outdoors and challenging circumstances.

Boosting morale, we initiate projects in elementary schools. From writing personalised postcards to soldiers, to singing songs, we persevere to lift both children’s and soldier’s spirits during the most challenging of times.

We take immense pride in supporting those who bravely serve the people of this great nation, ensuring they never feel far from home no matter where duty calls .

Our volunteers stand alongside the brave soldiers who head to the frontlines, often spending extended periods away from their homes and living in the open air. We aim to make their journey a little easier by offering our unwavering support and warm hospitality.

Our team is further bolstered by a group of dedicated professionals who generously donate their time and skills. Among them, you'll find hairdressers, musicians, celebrity chefs, authors, and more, all contributing their expertise to enhance the well-being of our soldiers.

My People My Support was founded on a self-funded basis, but now we're reaching out to the community to help us expand our support into the challenging winter months.
